Michelle Hanson, MSN, RN, is the Director of Nursing at The Recovery Village in Umatilla, Florida has dedicated the rest of her career to addiction recovery. She received her Master of Nursing degree in Nursing Education from the University of Central Florida in 2009 and has been an adjunct professor there. She also spent several years teaching in an LPN program and had spent the last seven years training and mentoring Directors of Nursing and Health Service Administrators across the country.Â
Michelle brings compassion, expertise and care to her time with patients. She lost her son to an overdose in 2015, and it propelled her to help others like him. She is proud to work at The Recovery Village, where she feels she can make a difference in the lives of others.
