Welcome to the Trauma Recovery Network (TRN) of Western WA.  We are an association of Trauma Recovery EMDR HAP (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Humanitarian Assistance Program).  Trauma Recovery/HAP is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization that has been responding to man-made and natural disasters internationally since 1995.   EMDR HAP volunteer counselors have responded to tragedies such as 911, Hurricane Katrina, the Sandy Hook shootings, and the Orlando Club shootings.

The TRN of Western WA is a network of EMDR therapists prepared to assist survivors of natural or man-made disasters and first responders involved in these incidents to recover from traumatic stress by providing 3 pro bono EMDR sessions per approved incident.  We are also involved in first responder and community education on the effects and treatment of traumatic stress and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).


To mitigate the impact of trauma caused by natural or man-made disasters throughout the communities of Western WA by providing pro bono EMDR therapy to survivors and other affected people.
