As a member of the Community Outreach team at The Recovery Village, Houston Spore has the dedication to helping clients, families, and organizations find quality treatment options. Before joining the Umatilla facility in 2023, Houston, a Flagler College Sport Management program graduate, spent over seven years advocating and assisting families and their loved ones in finding mental health and substance use disorder treatment. He collaborated with leaders across Central Florida to make recovery for everyone that desired to make the change attainable. In 2022 Houston started a foundation to help those in need navigate the obstacles of community care and to help them increase their success in assimilating back to their lives with recovery-rich community support. He is a sixth-generation Floridian and is excited for the opportunity to help save lives in the area where he was born and raised by working with the caring community outreach team and other employees at Advanced Recovery Systems.
