Julia Herrin, Miss South Carolina, joins us as a Real Talk Brand Ambassador in 2021/2022! She is a Sophomore at Auburn University, from Bluffton, South Carolina studying Piano Performance and Communications. In addition to serving as an ambassador, Julia also dedicates her time to Social Media Literacy Education and has created her own initiative for the encouragement of self-esteem and worth called #RealNotPerfect. Supporting Real Talk and Advanced Recovery Systems is important to her because everyone should be educated on the dangers of substance abuse so that they can make informed and wise choices that will affect not only their present but their future.
The Recovery Village aims to improve the quality of life for people struggling with substance use or mental health disorder with fact-based content about the nature of behavioral health conditions, treatment options and their related outcomes. We publish material that is researched, cited, edited and reviewed by licensed medical professionals. The information we provide is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
