Callie Cox, Miss Missouri 2021, joins us as a Real Talk Brand Ambassador in 2021/2022! She is a Senior at the University of Missouri, from Mexico, Missouri, studying Mass Media Communication. In addition to serving as an ambassador, Callie also dedicates her time to her social impact initiative “People First,” which is a multifaceted program that emphasizes the importance of inclusion while also empowering individuals with disabilities and advocating for employment and extracurricular opportunities for those with disabilities. Through various platforms, Callie has reached over 20,000 individuals across the state of Missouri. Supporting Real Talk and Advanced Recovery Systems is important to her because addiction will face every individual in one way or another, whether it’s a friend, a family member, or a friend’s family member. Substance abuse education is vital for all individuals and constant conversation is one way Callie hopes to decrease the stigma surrounding substance abuse and equip the future generation to succeed.
