Victoria VanTol is a licensed independent mental health practitioner and social worker in the states of Nebraska and Iowa. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2017. Since that time, she has worked as a therapist in a youth residential facility, provided clinical consultation in a primary care clinic and a nonprofit agency, and is currently in private practice. She specializes in treating trauma and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Victoria has been a freelance writer for three years and focuses on topics of mental health, addiction, and social justice. She became a writer because she enjoys sharing what she has learned in these fields with a broad audience.
