Kathleen is a licensed pharmacist in New Jersey. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Rutgers University. She currently works in the retail setting as a pharmacist and also has experience as an independent consultant pharmacist for skilled nursing facilities. Kathleen’s professional interests include addiction education, the economics of healthcare and pain management.
She is passionate about ensuring that her patients are empowered with knowledge and information regarding the medications that they are taking. There is a disconnect in the current state of healthcare because, even with access to endless sources of valid, legitimate information, people are still misinformed about their health and medications. Knowledge is empowerment and it is the responsibility of healthcare professionals to ensure that people are well-informed about their health.
